Nargis Ahmad B.Sc.(Hons) Osteopath, has provided treatments for natural pain relief for nearly 20 years. After completing her 4 year medical osteopathic degree at The British School of Osteopathy in 2001 Nargis worked in Anitgua with stroke patients and more recently helped orphans in Sri Lanka.
Nargis is fully trained to screen for medical conditions and will advise when needed that you see another health professional such as a doctor, midwife or other medical practitioner. Since her degree training, Nargis has attended many cranial post graduate courses, providing her with a unique blend of osteopathic skills, that make her treatments calm, nurturing and effective.
Osteopathy is a safe and effective hands on approach to healthcare, based on the principle that the way your body moves influences how it functions. Osteopaths are highly competent healthcare professionals, recognised by the NHS as fully qualified to diagnose and treat independently.
More than 30,000 people every day vist an Osteopath suffring from a variety of conditions including neck and back pain, trapped nerves, shoulder joint or muscular pain, sports injuries, recurring headaches and more. Many patients are pregnant mothers, office workers, runners with general sports injuries that won’t recover or pain and stiffness related to advancing years
As you don’t need a referral from your doctor to see a Osteopath, you will typically be able to see an Osteopath quickly, without the long waiting times that often occur with other treatment options
