Lynne is a member of the Complementary Therapists Association CThA, Embody, the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance UK.
“If the mother is yoga, the daughter is Thai massage.” Thai massage, often otherwise known as “easy yoga”, involves stretches which Lynne will gently ease you into with conscious use of the breath, acupressure massage working on the energy lines of the body, rhythmic massage and meditation. Thai massage releases tension, increases flexibility and vitality, and you are left feeling enhanced mentally, physically and spiritually.
Holistic Massage Looking at the person as a whole entity is vital for holistic massage and through consultation Lynne will establish the physical, emotional and psychological dynamics of a client’s needs in order to effect her repertoire of techniques to include deep tissue work, acupressure release, stretching and energy work. Leaving the client feeling relieved of any aches or built up tension, relaxed, revitalised and well balanced.
A relaxing therapy to balance and encourage the body’s own natural energy flow. Reflex points on the feet which correspond with every gland, organ and system of the body are worked and stimulated to improve circulation, boost the immune system and promote the natural function of the related areas of the body. Reflexology is based on the ancient Chinese belief that we have energy flowing all round our bodies, if our energy is flowing more freely then we are more balanced and healthy.
The physical practise of yoga postures with conscious use of the breath, helps to stimulate the systems of the body, improve flexibility and develop core strength. Yoga also teaches you to become more aware of your body’s posture and alignment, and to deal with stressful situations in a focused and calm way enabling us to cope and thrive in today’s world.
Lynne promotes yoga therapy on a one to one basis or as couple sessions. Having the full attention of a qualified teacher is invaluable for an effective yoga practise which will be tailored to your specific needs.
One to One 60 minute session £50.
