5 ‘stress-fix’ rituals
Just breathe – 10 minutes
Alternate nostril breathing with ‘stress-fix concentrate. – Roll the concentrate formula onto your right wrist and place the right hand index finger and middle finger on the point between the eyebrows. Use your thumb to close your right nostril and inhale through your left. Use your ring finger to close your left nostril and exhale through your right. Inhale through your right nostril. Close your right nostril and exhale through your left. Repeat for 1 – 10 minutes.
Give your hands a break – 2 minutes
To release tension in the hands caused by typing and texting. – Smooth ‘stress-fix’ body lotion on your hands and forearms. Use your thumb to massage the muscle at the base of the thumb. Press and hold any tense areas in the palms. Massage your inner forearm, using circular movements with your thumb from wrist to elbow. Press and hold any tense areas in the muscle. Flex and extend your wrist while pressing the points along the muscle. Helps to reduce muscle tension. Repeat on the other hand and forearm.
Save your neck – 1 minute
For every 90 minutes you sit at a computer, do the following 1 minute exercise. – Stand up and roll ‘stress-fix’ concentrate over the back of your neck. Inhale while lifting your chin up to the sky and exhale dropping your chin to chest. Inhale bringing your head to centre and exhale turning your head to the right. Inhale bringing your head back to centre and exhale turning your head to the left. Inhale bringing your head back to centre and exhale dropping your right ear to your right shoulder. Inhale bringing your head back to centre and exhale dropping your left ear to your shoulder. Inhale bringing your head back to centre.
Treat your feet – 5 minutes
Smooth ‘stress-fix’ body cream onto your foot and rotate the ankle 3 times in both directions. Repeat on the other foot. Use your thumb to massage in circular movements from the arch to the big toe 3 times. Massage the pad of each toe and the base of the toes across the upper sole. Massage the outside of your arch with a gliding thumb movement. Using your knuckles massage in circular movements over the rest of the sole and heel. Stroke your foot from toe to ankle to promote circulation and finish by pulling each toe gently. D the same on the other foot.
Take sanctuary – 10 – 20 minutes
Take a personal retreat from stress – Add 2 tablespoons of ‘stress-fix’ soaking salts to a warm bath. Lay back in the bath and place a cool, damp washcloth lever your eyes. Focus on your breathing. Take deep breaths, expanding your diaphragm and think of someone you love. Be aware of the way love feels in your body and your heart chakra – your body’s centre of sympathy, compassion and love – located in the centre of your chest. Repeat the word ‘harmony’ to yourself, while you continue to relax and breathe deeply for a few more minutes.
After bathing or showering massage ‘stress-fix’ body lotion over your entire body. Make sure to use clockwise circular movements over your abdomen – this ancient technique is believed to promote organ health and wellness.
